The Best Laid Plans…

I’ve been trying to think of something I want to write about and so far nothing has sprung to mind. So instead I’ll give an update on the blog.

I am on day twenty-three or twenty-four since starting. I’ve written a five-hundred word post every day.

I feel like I’ve run out of things to say. Actually I felt that way yesterday, when I posted a little humorous piece I’d been working on in my spare time.

When I started the blog, it was part of the three goals I set out for myself. Get in shape. Get a full-time job. Start writing again.

So far so good.

Except I don’t want to post just for the sake of posting. I want my posts to be meaningful and hopefully provide insight into the challenges I’m facing at this stage of my life.

I had planned to post less frequently starting in September. Maybe two posts or three posts a week. I plan to continue writing every day, maybe short stories. Maybe a screenplay. But not with the goal of publishing daily.

My next post will probably be Wednesday and with hope you’ll enjoy it.

Until then, good luck with your journey and please give me feedback.

  1. Your writing is honest ..raw and real….a journey of healing…..reflection and you continue your path do not be afraid of risking reaching out. A gentle reminder is to keep opening up and know it is ok to get your hands slapped from time to least you know that feeling is living… would we know happy without some bumps in the road. They are there to climb on so that we can get to the other side. Thank you for the brilliant insights.
